Aircraft Salvage
(N.Z. Preu Auociation) HAMILTON, May 26. Two aircraft engineers from Auckland, and a helicopter from Wanganui arrived in Kawhia today to salvage the Christchurch Aero Club’s Cessna 150< which was damaged when it landed on a beach north of Kawhia Heads yesterday. The aircraft was flying from Auckland to Christchurch at the time.
A heavy transporter and trailer has been sent from New Plymouth to take the dismantled Cessna back to Auckland.
