Seamen Agree To Work Tug
(N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND, May 26. The tug Otapiri left Auckland today for the north after Auckland seamen refused to work it yesterday. “We have been assured that over-loading of the barges will not be a pre-condition to employment of our men, and we have agreed to work the tug,” said the president of the Seamen’s Union (Mr W. Martin) today.
