PUBLIC NOTICES WAITAKI CATCHMENT COMMISSION CONFIRMATION OF SPECIAL ORDER DIRECTING THE MAKING AND LEVYING OF A SEPARATE RATE ON THE RATING DISTRICT OF THE LOWER WAITAKI RIVER CONTROL SCHEME. PUBLIC NOTICE IS THEREBY GIVEN that a Special Meeting of the Waitaki Catchment Commission, convened for the pur£ose and held on Wednesday, ay 10, 1967. it was resolved that pursuant to Section 86 of the Soli Conservation and Rivers Control Act, 1941, Section 51 of the Rating Act. 1925, and all other powers in that behalf it enabling the Waitaki Catchment Commission hereby resolves by way of Special Order that the Local Authorities Within the Waitaki Catchment District be directed to make, levy and collect on behalf of the Waitaki Cachment Commission .on a seperate Rate on the Rateable Value of all the rateable property within the Lower Waitaki River Control Scheme District, being a special rating district as defined.to the New Zealand Gazette No. 1 on January 16, 1964 pagee 48 and 49 for the period commencing on April 1, 1967 and ending on March 31, 1968. That such rate shall be levied on a graduated scale in accordance with the elaMlfleation of the district adopted by the Commission and as set out to the following schedule: THE SCHEDULE Class A. I.OSd to the £, which is an equivalent of ,44c in the dollar. Claes B. 0.63 d in the £, which Is an equivalent of .26c to the dollar. Class C. 0.42 d to the £, which to an equivalent of .175 c to the dollar. Class D. 0.21d' in the £, which is an equivalent of .088 c to the dollar. Class E. O.lOSd in the f, which to an equivalent of .044 c to ths dollar. Class F. 0.0525 d to the 3, which is an equivalent of .022 c in the dollar. Class Ul. 0.026250 in the £, which la an equivalent of .088 c to the dollar. AND PUBLIC NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the above resolution will be submitted to the Ordinary Meeting of tbs Commission, to bo held to the Office, Wynyard street, Kurow, on Wednesday, June 14, 1967, at 10 a.m. for confirmation as a Special Order.
