MELBOURNE Industrials were quiet with the easier tone still apparent. B. recovered 14c to 790 but most other leaders lost ground. C. dropped 100 c to 750 in sharp reaction to yesterday’s rise. Support for Western Mining also tapered off and the price dropped 40c to 1490. Most other base metals eased but North B.H. improved 22c to 480. Oils were easier.

Cyclone Div. Cyclone Industries (N.Z.), Ltd., Christchurch has reduced its total dividend from 9 to 8 per cent for the year to March 31. Directors recommend a final dividend of 4 per cent, payable July 21, ex July 14.
