Tinsel (Jones) sprinted three furlongs in 37 l-ssec. She might need Saturday’s race, but is very close to her best just the same.

Belted Earl (Marsh) showed himself ready for a winning run In the second division of the Juvenile Handicap when he outran Orlean (M. Donoghue) over half a mile In SO 3-ssec. the last three In 38 3-ssec. Dark Song (Grantham) had Deep Blue (Anderson) covered after three furlongs in 38 3-s
