THE FAST FRIGATE BLACKPOOL, which is on loan to New Zealand from the Royal Navy for four or five years. She arrived at Auckland last night. Since she was commissioned in the Royal New Zealand Navy in June last year, the Blackpool has been serving on the Far East station as part of New Zealand’s contribution to the Commonwealth Strategic Reserve.
