Museum Buses
Alterations in Rolleston avenue traffic arrangements, with the installation of traffic lights at Gloucester street, had restricted the bus stop outside the Canterbury Museum and two vehicles could not at present park close to the kerb, the museum’s education officer (Mr J. H. Johnston) reported to the trust board yesterday. To avoid danger to children in school parties he suggested lengthening the present bus stop, moving it south of Worcester street, or forming an off-street park in front of the museum.
