Exhibition By Lindrum
The world-renowned billiards and snooker player, Horace Lindrum, delighted a large crowd at the Richmond WOTking Men’s Club last evening, when he played his first matches in Christchurch on a current New Zealand tour. He began with 45 minutes of billiards against the Canterbury representative, T. Yesberg, winning by 898-201. His breaks included 309 and 188. He followed it with four games of snooker, conceding 42 shots in each, and won the first three and lost the fourth, to W. Luke, 70-84. Lindrum completed his exhibition with trick shots and some amazing hand spins.
