TACTILE WINS
Roosevelt Event Tactile last Friday added to bls good record in New York with a win In a junior free-for-all at Roosevelt Raceway. He led all the way and lasted to win by a nose from Pocomoonshine in 2mln 1 4-ssec for the mile. The race carred a stake of 120,000. Rothesay was another New Zealand-bred winner the same night at Roosevelt Raceway. He recorded 2mln S 3-ssec In a race which carried a stake of 33290. Le Whip (2min 6 l-ssec) and Eden Valley (2min 3 3-ssec> also won at Roosevelt Raceway last week. Eden Valley was successful in an all-New Zealand finish. He beat Highland Don and Trysal.
Urrall, Fitment and Scotch Song won at Washington Park. Urrall won In 2min 4 l-ssec In a race of S4SOO, while Scotch Song recorded the same time in a race of 33990. Fitment won on a heavy track in 2tnln 10 4-3 sec in a race in which Jonboy Star finished fifth.
Courtier won his second race from as many starts on a heavy track at Liberty BeU. He took 2min 12sec for the mile in a race worth 32100. Spring Sue won earlier in the week at the same meeting In 2min 4 3-ssec.
