Loburn And Mayfield Collie Results, Awards

The Loburn Collie Club was favoured with fine weather for its recent meeting. A feature of the trial was the Ensor Memorial, a competition for the four top district dogs in Classes I and 11. Four dogs competed in a Class II A event, the winner being Rain, the dog with the highest aggregate. Of the 12 runs, all were in excess of 90 points, the average fbr all runs being 94 points. The Ashburton Collie Club Perpetual Challenge Cup this year goes to H. M. King’s Jet with 275 J points scored in the Mayfield Collie Dog Club’s 1967 trials. Mr King wins the A N. Grigg memorial shield with ’ 946 points. All trophies and special prizes will be presented at a general meeting of the Mayfield club in the Lodge Rooms at Mayfield on May 29, at 8 p.m. Other awards were: L. A.
