Two Riding Overseas
Canterbury top road cyclist, T. J. Tabak, and J. D. Swanston, lust reinstated as an amateur after a successful cash career, are to travel to Europe later this year. However, Tabak refuses to divulge the date of departure. Both are to go to Holland. Tabak said yesterday he would be applying for a work permit for his time on the Continent. If he “does any good,” however, he will not return to New Zealand for some time.
