Death Of Girl
(N.Z. Press Association) DUNEDIN, May 24. A 14-year-old Southland girl was killed and her brother and mother injured when the car in which they were travelling mounted the footpath and struck a power pole in Caversham Valley road shortly after 11.30 this morning. The girt killed was Frances Mary Breen, of 30 Devon street, Gore. Dorothy Rosemond Breen, aged 43, and Paul Leonard Breen, aged four, were admitted to Dunedin Public Hospital for observation. Mrs Breen suffered a broken collar bone.
