Parliament
Sir, —The term “political fanatics” as applied by a prominent member of the National Party to the Social Credit Political League could be more properly applied to his own party, who seem determined to fly in the face of his-
tory rather than bring financial reality to the greatest upsurge of production in our history. The Government has two years left to retrace the steps which have put all electors at the mercy of the social debt system. To attempt rebutting fallacies of Social Credit theories would be like butting against the thorns which generations of blind politicians have allowed to grow like weeds in the wellordered garden of efficient progress. The Government could be more practical by forming a coalition with the league and taking Mr Cracknell into the Cabinet, whereby they could seek advice in asserting the eminent right of State sovereignty over the financial system.—Yours, etc., W. B. BRAY. Leeston, May 23, 1967.
