Light Rain
The weather cleared in Christchurch yesterday after light rain in the morning, and temperatures were moderate, the maximum recorded at Harewood being 59 degrees at 1 p.m. At 6 a.m. at Harewood the temperature was 52 degrees, at 9 a.m. 51 degrees, and at noon and 3 p.m. 56 degrees. In the Botanic Gardens at 3 p.m. the temperature was 57 degrees. The temperature gauge on the Government Life building registered 56 degrees at 4.30 p.m.
