Society Urges China’s Case
(N Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, May 21. The New Zealand China Society at its national conference in Wellington this week-end urged the Government to recognise the Chinese People’s Republic, and to support the admission of China to the United Nations. The conference also asked the Government to adopt a more liberal and consistent policy toward visitors from China in the fields of trade and cultural relations.
