To Merge Gold Operations

Three of Australia’s largest gold producers have announced plans to combat rising mining costs and falling gold yields in their mines at Kalgoorlie in Western Australia.
Great Boulder Gold Mines, Ltd., Lake View and Star, Ltd., and Gold Mines of Kalgoorlie, Ltd., are investigating the feasibility of merging their operations and leases on the “golden mile” area.
