Bank Overdrafts
Sir, —The Government recently announced that bank overdrafts are to be cut by 10 per cent In effect, that means I must find £lOO in each £lOOO within the next two months. But on the same day, the Government authorised its own airline to arrange bank overdraft in the United States to the extent of several millions. To tighten the belt of one while releasing it on another hardly seems equitable. Let us all share the sacrifices of ' the present time together.Yours, etc., „ JR. May 10, 1967.
