Richmond's defeat of R.S.A., the leading team, was the highlight of ths fourth round of the A grade inter-club bil liards series. All other matches were even, being split two to one. Results:
Richmond (Yesberg 200. Greaves 200, Dinton 96) beat R.S.A. (O’Callaghan 67, Kelly 135, Collie 200). 2 to 1; Woolston I (Martin 119, Bilks 200, Mintrom 200) beat Kalspoi (Adams 200, Burney 93, Bayliss 139), 2 to 1; New Brighton W.M.C. (Thomas 200, Hammond 125, Aitken 200) beat Christchurch W.M.C. (Choat 160, Carson 200, Blackburn 153) 2 to 1: Woolston TI (Mason 105, Hallum 200, Husband 200) beat Post Office (Simons 200, Narbey 192, Leigh 166) 2 to 1.
