THE MAGGA DAN.—The Lauritzen Line’s 1957-ton, 10-year-old motor-vessel Magga Dan, which has been chartered by the Holm Shipping Company for the company’s expanding Pacific trade and for cruises to the Antarctic. The Danish vessel will also service meteorological stations and trade to the Chathams. Sturdily built for ice work, the Magga Dan is comfortably appointed and has accommodation for 34 passengers. She is fully refrigerated.
