Bus Hit By Pellets
(N.Z. Press Association) MASTERTON, May 9. A bus driver and fiye passengers missed serious injury by inches when shotgun pellets shattered a side window of a bus just south of Featherston yesterday morning. One pellet missed the driver, Mr I. R. Maxwell, by less than 12 Inches before drilling through a metal side panel above his head. It is suspected that a careless shooter was responsible.
