Name Of Site
Early in Its deliberations the organising committee for this week’s World Ploughing Contest was told that in conformity with the wishes of the land owners on whose properties the contest would be held, the area should be known as Prebbleton - Broadfleld. The address of Mr R. W. Wilson, on part of whose property the contest is being held, is Prebbleton, and that of
Mr J. F. Smith, the other farmer on whose property the contest will be held, Is Broadfield. Mr Wilson said recently that the area actually lay on the borders of Lincoln, Ladbrooks, Prebbleton and Broadfleld.
