(Special Crspdt. N.Z.P.A.) SAN DIEGO (California), May 9. The New Zealand trade mission has just completed, on a most encouraging note, a week of intense selling in the tough Los Angeles market. The leader, Mr J. N. C. Doig, said yesterday that firm orders were booked worth two million dollars, with good prospects of a fur ther two million dollars of business. Most of this was on • yearly basis, representing a great opportunity for further development of the market. Deals completed in Hawaii and Los Angeles were for forest products, wallpaper, rugs, speciality canned foods, ceramics, and a further development of lamb sale*.
