Blinded In One Eye
fNS Press Im- Copyright) SYDNEY. G. Wellington, a candidate for the Australian Rugby League team to play New Zealand this year, has been blinded in the right eye. Wellington, who toured New Zealand with the Australian team in 1965, was hurt in a Queensland selection trial in Brisbane last week. A centre three-quarter, he suffered a bump on the head and went blind in the right eye.
