AIRCRAFT SOLD
Market In Australia (N.Z. Press Association) HAMILTON, May 9. Sales in Australia of a New Zealand-made aircraft were announced today. Air Parts (N.Z.), Ltd., of Hamilton, has secured a place on the Australian market for the Fletcher FU24. Regular delivery of the aircraft is expected to begin soon. The aircraft will be flown from Hamilton to Australia, by way of Norfolk Island, with an extra fuel tank fitted. Several fl rm orders have already been gained, and it i* expected to have eight before the end of the year.
“In four year* we could have between 50 and 80 flying in Australia,” said Mr G. Scheltem, general manager of the firm.
