Apprentice Fined £25
(N.Z. Press Association) HAMILTON. The apprentice jockey, A. E. Ford, rider of Orm in the iudicial committee of the Waiato Racing Club on Saturday. Ford, rider of Orm in the Kindergarten Handicap, was found guilty of causing interference to Manono (R. C. Lang) and Game Hunter (R. J. Sutherland) after the horses had straightened for the run home. Orm shifted out against Manono, which in turn made contact with Game Hunter. The committee accepted the statement of W. J. Bromby, who employs Ford and trains Orm, that the horse was still green.
