Six-Lecture Course On Potential Of Women

“The potential of women” will be the theme of a course of six lectures for the Workers’ Educational Association in Christchurch this month. The lectures will cover topics of concern to all women. Suburban nuerosis will be discussed by Mr H. Cohen. Mrs H. Garrett will discuss the conflicting roles in marriage. The question of values confronting women in fulfilling their roles as wives, mothers and career women will be discussed by Mrs D. Grant. Mrs E. Locke will talk about retraining facilities for women contemplating a return to work or to a career. The subject of the fifth lec-

ture, when the speaker will be Dr. J. Moffat, will be women and education. Finally there will be a panel discussion to which members of the public are invited to submit questions. Lectures will be held at 8 p.m. each Tuesday evening in the W.E.A. Hall from May 23 to June 27. Admission will be 2s a lecture or 10s for the course.
