Proud Clarion Wins At 30-1 (N.Z.P. A.-Reuter—Copyright) LOUISVILLE. Proud Clarion, a 30-1 long shot, won the 93rd Kentucky Derby yesterday. The classic was run under tight security precautions to guard against possible civil rights demonstrations. Barb’s Delight was second and Damascus, the hot favourite, was third. There were 14 runners in the 10-furlong race.
