Tanker Design Inquiry
(N.Z.P. A.-Reuter—Copyright) LONDON, May 7. World shipping experts have decided to order an immediate investigation into the design and construction of giant oil tankers and the rules under which they sail. The inquiry will probably be made by technical committees of the United Nations Maritime Consultative Organisation whose council on Friday night completed a twoday survey of the lessons to be learned from the Torrey Canyon disaster.
