Mr R. J. Doherty (Woodville) has been re-elected national president of the amalgamated Society of Railway Ser-vants;-He was opposed by Mr D. M. Kane (Christchurch), Mr P. J. Vaughan (Wanganui), and Mr S. S. Walker (Auckland). The national secretary (Mr N. A. Collins) was also reelected. He was opposed by Mr J. P. Cranston (Rotorua).
