CHRISTIAN EDUCATION
The provision of Christian training for more than 15,450 pupils by the Christchurch branch of the New Zealand Council of Christian Education will be reviewed at the branch’s annual meeting tomorrow. The meeting will be addressed by the Rev. Margaret Reid, president of the New Zealand council and the only ordained woman Presbyterian minister in New Zealand. The Christchurch branch’s area extends from the Clarence to the Rangitata rivers, and includes 80 schools where lessons are given by 309 volunteer teachers.
