Three Houses Sold
A weatherboard bungalow on a section of 25 perches at 31 Carrington street, St. Albans, was sold for £3350 at public auction on Monday. The property was offered on account of the estate of L. Gambles by George Anderson and Son. The auctioneer was Mr J. Dyer. The house has two livingrooms, two bedrooms, hall, kitchenette, bathroom and laundry. There is also a garage.
The Government valuation is £2950.
The opening bid was £2750. There were six bids of £lOO. Two houses, one at 352 Oxford terrace and the other at 70 Packe street, have been sold by private treaty by George Anderson and Son. Both properties were passed in when offered at auction recently.
