COMPLAINT COSTS £200

WELLINGTON. April 14. The Ombudsman (Sir Guy Powles) said yesterday that he had received more than 3000 complaints during his four years and a half in office. He received an average of 700 complaints a year. Of last year’s 713 complaints, 351 were investigated and 56 were found to be justified. The average cost of a complaint was £2OO, said Sir Guy Powles.
