£l95m. Rise In Savings
(N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND, April 12. In the last four years, deposits in Mvings banks throughout New Zealand hM increased by £195 million. Mid Mr C. A. MacFarlane, chairman, of the New Zealand Savings Committee, in Auckland today. This amount had been recorded from April 1, 1962, to March 31, 1966. Over the previous eight years the increase only amounted to £151.8 million.
