T. & W. Young Seeks Listing
("N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, April 12. The Wellington wine and spirit firm of T. and W. Young, Ltd., will seek Stock Exchange listing for its ordinary shares, according to an announcement by the chairman (Mr A. T. Young). To this end 70,000 10s ordinary fully paid shares will be offered for sale to investors at 13s 4d each, plus brokerage and stamp duty. These shares have become available by an arrangement with major shareholders to offer a portion of their individual shareholdings in limited parcels. Issued and paid-up capital is £368,743 in 737,486 ordinary shares of 10s and shareholders’ funds stand at £662,644. Based on the consolidated balance sheet as at May 31, 1966, the asset backing of the 10s shares is 18s.
