Higher Rates Of Interest (N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND, April 12. Associated Group Securities, Ltd., Auckland financier, is offering slightly higher interest rate on unsecured notes in its latest debenture and note issue. The prospectus is for an issue of £200,000 with the right to accept a further £50,000 in oversubscriptions. It will open on April 17, offering rates for three months of 5) per cent on debenture stock and 51 per cent on unsecured notes, for one year at 6 per cent and 61 per cent, while for three years it will be 7 per cent and 71 per cent. For a fixed term of 10 years the debenture rate offered is 7} per cent. Rates for the company’s debentures are in line with the rates offered in June 1966. Rates on notes in the issue of October 1965, were from 51 to 7 per cent.
