N.Z. Two Wins, Two Losses
(N.Z.P.A.-Reuter—Copyright) STOCKHOLM. The New Zealand men’s (Swaythling Cup) and women’s (Corbillon Cup) teams met with mixed success on the opening day of the world table tennis championships at Stockholm. The women beat Norway, 3-0, and the United States, 3-1, but the men lost both of their matches, 0-5 to Jugoslavia and 1-5 to East Germany.
