(N.Z. Preu Association) WELLINGTON, April 10. The Wellington and Upper Hutt branches of the Amalgamated Society of Railway Servants will meet this week to decide if they will obey the instructions of their national executive to hold stop-work meetings from 10 a.m. on April 20. The Upper Hutt branch will decide at a meeting on Wednesday night, and the Wellington
branch at a meeting on Thursday night The secretary of the Wellington branch (Mr D. Goodfellow) said tonight that he had called the meeting on the Instructions of the branch chairman, Mr J. O’Sullivan.
Mr O’Sullivan declined to say if he was for or against the national executive’s instruction to hold the stop-work meeting.
