League Selection Panel Chosen

There will be only one change in the Canterbury Rugby League selection panel this season, but the representative side will have a different coach. A meeting of the Canterbury Rugby League last evening appointed two of last season’s panel to this year’s three-man panel, Messrs D. L, Blanchard and E. Butts. Last week the board of control appointed Mr D. C. Wilson as convener for the committee. Last year the convener was Mr R. K. Andrews. Immediately the two additions to the panel were an-

nounced by the chairman, after a vote on the nominations was received from the clubs, Mr Blanchard was appointed to coach this year’s teams.

Kennedy, had been disqualified by the Australian league for having played for the "rebel" league in southern New South Wales.
