It is hereby publicly notified that the Waimairi County Council at a Special Meeting held In the Council Chambers, Clyde Road, Fendalton on Thursday, 16th March, 1967, passed the following resolution:— “That in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it by the ’Counties Act, 1956, and the ’Local Authorities Loans Act, 1956,* and the amendment thereto, and all other Acts (if any) enabling it in that behalf and by virtue of the sanction of the Local Authorities, Loans Board granted at a meeting of the Board held on the 7th day of February, 1967, the Waimairi County Council hereby resolves to proceed to raise in New Zealand a loan to be known as the Pensioner Flats (Daniels Road) Loan, 1967, of an amount of Twenty Eight Thousand, Four Hundred and Ten Pounds (£28,416) for the purpose of purchasing land and erecting accommodation for aged people, subject to the following determinations:— 1. That the loan be known as the Pensioner Flats (Daniels Road) Loan 1967, and hereinafter referred to as the said loan.. 2. That the term for which 1 the said loan or any part Xthereof may be borrowed shall be thirty years. 3. That the rate of interest that may be paid in respect of the said loan or any part thereto shall be such as shall not produce to the lender or lenders a rate or rates exceeding three and one half per cent per annum. 4. That the said loan or any part thereof, together with interest thereon, shall be paid by equal aggregate annual or half yearly instalments extending over the term as determined in Clause (2) hereof. 5. That the payment of all such instalments shall be made in New Zealand and no such instalments shall be paid out of loan money. 6. That no money shall be borrowed under the sanction after the expiration of three years from the date thereof. 7. That the security for the repayment of the said loan and the charges thereon shall be a special rate of .005969 d (pence) in the £ (pound) on the capital value of all rateable property In the County.” Pursuant to the “Local Authorities Loans Act, 1956,” it is hereby further publicly notified that the foregoing resolution will be submitted to a meeting of the Waimairi County Council to be held in the Council Chambers, Clyde Road, Fendalton, on Thursday, 20th April, 1967, at 7.30 p.m. for confirmation as a Special Order. It is hereby further publicly notified that a poll of ratepayers is required to be taken if five per cent of the ratepayers in the County so demand by writing under their hands delivered or sent by poet to the undersigned before the date fixed for the confirmation of the resolution hereinbefore mentioned. w J.
