University ran up a cricket score to overwhelm Hornby, 211, in the second division soccer competition on Saturday. The students scored seven goals in the first half and twice that number in the second period. Waterside, which beat Riccarton, 6-5, is now the only unbeaten side in the division, the other two winning teams from the previous week, Cashmere Wanderers and Celtic, drawing, 3-3. Results of the first division reserves matches were: Christchurch City 3, Technical 3; Western 3, New Brighton 2; Rangers 4, Shirley-Nomads 1; Shamrock 2, H. 5.0.8. 0.
