Rise In Meat, Dairy Sales

In spite of a £5.4 million fall in wool exports in February, New Zealand export receipts totalled £31.2 million only £0.9 million less than in February, 1966.

The fall in wool Income, through Wool Commission buying, was partly offset by increased sales of other primary produce, according to Reserve Bank figures released last night.

Meat exports were £2.6 million higher and dairy products rose £2.4 million, compared with February, 1966.

Total receipts rose £16.3 million to £56.1 million.

A £l7 million rise in official capital receipts was through a £6.2 million increase in the sale of investments by the Government and a £lO.B million loan to the Reserve Bank.

Payments of £42.9 million were recorded—£4.l million
