OBITUARY Sister Mary Patrick
Sister Mary Patrick, who died at Lyttelton this week, was a daughter of the late Denis and Catherine Murphy, of Wrey’s Bush, Southland. Sister Patrick entered the Convent of Mercy, Lyttelton, in 1908 and speed her early years working there with the founder, Mother Mary AloySiUB.
In later years. Sister Patrick worked at Methven, Akaroa, and Rakaia. She retired from active service in Rakaia two weeks ago because of declining health. She is survived by a brother, Mr Denis Murphy, of Wrey’s Bush, and a sister, Mr* M. Grimwood, of Winton.
