McKENZIE LEAVES
(From Our Own Reporter) GREYMOUTH.
The New Zealand marathon champion, D. C. McKenzie, of Greymouth, last night left aboard a jet airliner for the United States to compete in the Boston marathon. It was his first overseas trip. Last year, he had to withdraw from the New Zealand team to compete in the Commonwealth Games in Jamaica because of injury.
