Hockey Squad Announced
The national hockey selectors (Messrs I. D. Armstrong and B. H. Mackinlay) have chosen IS players to attend three coaching courses for the national sqquad to be held in May, June and July. The players selected are: B. McPherson, B. Capey, J. Hicks and B. Salmon (Whangarei), A. Patterson, B. Madster, 8. Malater. J. Christenson. K. Kiernan, P. Clark and K. Thomson (Canterbury), I. Free, J. Anslow and B. Rodger* (Auckland), B. Judge (Wellington) and A. Mclntyre (Wanganui).
Telegram Delay.—The Chief Postmaster, Mr M. E. Wilson, has advised that because of staff difficulties, telegrams to and from Aden and South Arabia are subject to delay until further notice.
