Won Bridal Contest

For her tasteful decoration of her ideal diningroom, Miss Lynne Mugford was selected winner of Beath’s Bridal Princess contest. She was chosen from nine finalists, who each had to decorate a room with furniture and furnishings supplied by the sponsers. The judges, Miss P. Rothenberg and Mr R. Walsh, said all the finalists had good colour coordinating sense, but some had gone astray in their lay-out of the room. Miss Mugford will contest another district final before she can qualify as a national finalist. The nine finalists received their prizes from Mr J. Wilkinson and Mr C. D. Ogilvie, general manager of the store. The runners-up were Misses L. B. Gulleford, S. Owles, C. Edmonds, C. E. Culverhouse, L. Blackmore, G. Buckion, W. Savage, and M. E. Whittle.
