The appointments may be made at the grade of Senior Lecturer, Lecturer, or Junior Lecturer. An. applicant who is exceptionally well qualified may be considered for a Readership. One appointment to its staff in English. This appointment may be made at the grade of Senior Lecturer or Lecturer. The salary scales are: Readers, £N.Z.2900—£N.Z.3300 ($5800—$6600); Senior Lecturers, ($4600—55400); Lecturers, £N.Z.ISOO—£N.Z.22OO— ($3000—$4400—$5000); Junior Lecturers, £N.Z.I2OO—£N.Z.I4OO ($2400—52800).
