(N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND, Mar. 31. Prices of overseas and local raw materials continued to rise, the chairman of Berlei Industries, Ltd. (Mr R. King) told the annual meeting yesterday. This also applied to manufacturing and selling overheads. He said outstanding debtors now doubled those six years ago. This indicated the increasing severity with which the continuing credit squeeze had been applied, and highlighted the fact that the company had been forced to provide credit which would have come from other sources.
