ALL BLACK TOUR
‘No Trace 01 Bitterness’ (N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND. No trace of bitterness toward New Zealand or Australian Rugby teams was detected in Britain by one of New Zealand’s delegates to the International Rugby Board conference in London, Mr R. L. Burk. Mr Burk returned to Auckland yesterday. The other delegate was Mr C. A. Blazey, of Wellington. “The British people' are looking forward to the forthcoming tour of the All Blacks with great delight and joy,” said Mr Burk.
“Reports of tension built up in. Britain against the All Blacks are entirely incorrect. “There is absolutely no bitterness at all.” Mr Burk said there was a particularly noticeable eagerness in Wales toward the tour.
