Aust. And Japan (N.Z.P.A.-Reuter—Copyright) TOKYO, March 31. Friendly and cooperative relations between Australia and Japan were being strengthened in all areas of contact, according to a joint communique issued today at the conclusion of . formal talks between the Japanese foreign Minister, Mr Takeo Miki, and the Australian External Affairs Minister, Mr Paul Hasluck. The communique said the talks between the two Ministers were characterised by a comprehensive \ coverage of international political questions of common concern to both countries. They had included China, Vietnam, other Asian questions, and United Nations policies.
