(N.Z.P.A. -Reuter—Copyright) NAIROBI. The Tanzanian team of A. Shankland and C. Rothwell, drivng a Peugeot 404, were confirmed yesterday as winners of the East African Safari. They won the world’s toughest motor rally for the second successive year. Shankland and Rothwell had only 59 penalty points. 10 fewer than the second place-getters, V. Preston and R. Gerrish, in a Ford Lotus Cortina. P. Hughes and R. Syder (Kenya) in a Ford Cortina GT came third wth 84 points lost.
